are evolution HID the same as HID

hey guys, i want to kno if Evolution HID bulbs are the same quality as the HID bulbs, do they last as long or are they a crappier version of HID?

When you say HID, do you mean HID as in High Intensity Discharge capsules (bulbs) or HID "look" bulbs. If they are HID "look" bulbs then they are basically higher wattage bulbs that "look" like real HID lighting. those are good for the purpose intended, for fashion. as far as quality? they are all pretty much the same and will eventually blow the filament and die. I went through 3 sets of PIAA bulbs within a span of about 8 months, I think it is due to the stiffer suspension (TEIN HA) that maybe the filament inside the bulbs are fracturing prematurely. So now i'm waiting for some REAL HID's from Mcculloch. Anyway if the bulbs are cheap like $30, then go for it. The PIAA bulbs were $80 a pair, times 3 is $240...... if i had bought 3 more sets of those, I could have bought the real HID's..... i learned the hard way but not anymore, Daytime, here I come.
