I'm not sure if this is off topic here, and should go to the Mods section, but if it is, I apologize in advance.

I'm just wondering what you guys think of this tire. It's the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position. I found it for $144 each -- I'm wondering 1) if it's a good tire and 2) if that's a good deal on it.

I'm not sure if this is relevant but I live in Central Florida now, so Snow traction is insignificant to me. :)

Also, if you wouldn't mind listing some other recommended tires, I'd appreciate it.

I think that's one of the best street performance tires. I think the BFGoodrich gForce T/A KD is one the few tires with more dry grip, but I think the gForce T/A KD is a worse choice if you drive in the wet at all.

And I <i>think</i> $144 is a good price for the S-03 PP.

yes, it's a good tire

you could also try DUNLOP 9000:
- excellent grip, thread life, looks, kinda expensive though
