Nice ride man, all you need to do is lower it though. I love your exhaust. Since you posted about a custom exhaust I'm gonna have to ask you some questions because I want to do it to. So if you don't mind here they are:
1) Did you get the custom job of doing a straight through pipe? 2) What type of Apexi exhaust did you use, a universal, or the
N-1 that they have for the new celicas?
3) What is the diameter of the piping that leads to the canister?
(is the pipe diameter same all through out?)
4) I don't know if you might know the anser to this one, but
do you think the custom exhaust set-up gives more power
and deeper sound than going with the whole exhaust system?
5) How much did you pay for the exhaust, and how much you pay
for the custom job including the piping?
Sorry for all these questions, but it would really be very helpful,
thanks.

Nice exh. syst. I made mine like that but instead of running the tubing through the center I passed it in between the rear A arms for a more straight design. The only prob. I had and maybe your syst has is a lot of drone inside the car. Its not that loud but vibrates the cabin.
Nice man!
People love it!

I paid $229 for the turbo sized A'PEXi N1 universal canaster.
This one has the 115 mm (4.5 in.) tip. The one that is the cat-back only has a 90 mm (3.4 in.) tip. Plus the cat back has one of those sub-mufflers I hate. Our celicas have that resignator + sub-muffler + rear muffler. That is too many for me. The (2) 2-1/2 aluminum J bends by hooker headers were $84.00 and they were nice and clean. I tried some from JCwhitney.com and they were super greasy and dirty. The inlet of the pipe for the muffler was
80 mm (3.2 in.).I used a frow master 3 inch-2.5 inch smooth flow reducer. It was $21.95 , The labor was expensive though because
I wanted it to be exactly how I want it. I paid $250 in labor. It was a High perf. shop that works on 600hp supras and 450 hp nissan skylines straight from Japan. A muffler shop probably would have charge $120. I would say definite performance gains,
especially redlining it in 1st-3rd gear. Total I spent I little less than
$600. I spent over $600 installed on the cat-back HKS HIPER that I used to have on the car and it sucked. I bought everything except for the canaster from www.summitracing.com. In california, Free shipping and no sales tax. I left the stock resignator, but other that that, it is a straight pipe with an s-bend and a canaster. We also used all the stock hanging points to secure the muffler.

Exhaust looks good... I too am either gonna go with a custom setup and the Kakimoto or A'pexi N1 Turbo muffler.
Just out of curiosity are you gonna still paint those side skirts and front lip Spectra Blue to match your paint!?
Also I see you have the Grillcraft lower grille. I just got one myself.. Does it still fit okay with the TRD/WW front lip?

Thanks for the info Underconstruction. By the way was the shop that you went to called Bozz Performance in Union City (or was it Fremont)? They have some secret nice-a$$ cars over there especially the supra. Where in the bay area are you from just out of curiosity. Thanks again. I might go with a custom exhaust set-up also.

I don't plan on painting the side skirts for a while if ever. A good 5 coat paint job is around $500. ALSO, the grillcraft grill doesn't fit with the trd front lip. I had to cut the lower corners off the grill and then shape it to the roundness of the front lip. Then I took a piece of 1/4 in. black plastic tubing and sliced it down the middle like a subway sandwich. Then I took a seringe and filled the tube with clear epoxy. I put the tube around the corners and slid the sharp edges of the grill into the center of the tube. Let it dry. Now, even close up, you can't even tell where the grill ends and the tube begins.
