View Full Version : Chi-Town Celicas Meet - Calling all Chicagoland Celicas

there's gonna be a meet on Sept. 20th, 2002 @ Lincoln Park Zoo, downtown Chicago. Be there around 9:30 PM. We'll be meeting up @ the parking lot of the zoo, after it's closed, so we shouldn't have a problem with it (if we do, for some reason, we might relocate to Grant Park or something close).

PS - Now that i'm thinking of it... how does a face-off sound? Maybe not this meet, but in the future. Bragging rights for the fastest Celica in Chicago??? Hmm....:D

why so late at night???? us out of towners can't afford hotel rooms and don't wanna drive home in the middle of the night.....I'm from Milwaukee....anyone wanna let me stay with them?? lol

Boo hoo! I drive home at 4AM all the time. The roads are completely empty at that time of night. Its actually pretty nice. I think this is a great time for a meet. I can probably stop by this one no prob.

you see this is where you buy a 12-pack of mountain dew and some munchies....i driven from Vegas to Terre Haute (2000 miles) in 26 hrs....theres ways to drive when youre tired and not roll your celica... ;)

I asume you are talking about my sig picture. Yes that's me drinking the huge drink, but the guy in the background is my friend Jason. I'm planning on stopping by this meet for a little bit but then plan on hitting up a bar or club in the city afterwards.

Yeah that was lame. I wasted a bunch of time making my car immaculate and then showed up and not a single person was there. Luckily my friends were on their way to a bar not far from there and I just went and met them. I would have been way more pissed if this meet were in the burbs and nobody showed up.

That's too bad the meeting fell through.

Maybe someone else should give it another shot. I think it'd be interesting seeing all the Celicas congregated at one place. We should move the location to ~Chinatown~ or something since there's always cars meeting out there at night. That way if nobody shows up, there'd still be other cars there.
