How much did you pay for your TS?

Anyone has TS around here? How much did you pay for it?

Looking into buying one, just seems so freakin expensive, especially with Euro being so up on the dollar.... however, GT is only 2.5k less than TS which really isnt much money...

I would have to pay like $27.5k for Celica TS, all taxes included... and thats with special discounts too ;-)

yeah TS are usually around 30-32k depending on the options... pricey! but its hella better than US spec.

Yeah, tell me about it... price here is like 32k, but I work for the dealership so I get nice discount... Still, $26.5-$27.5k is a lot of money tho... although there is no better coupe in europe anywhere at that price, which is a good point... another thing is that new corolla TS is $6k less than Celica TS, with all kit included... you can lower it and buy sport skirts & new wheels for another $1.5k, which is still 4.5$k less than Celica....

corolla? it could never compare to Celica handling, braking and general feel. Probably the best handling front wheel drive car. + celica is very sexy, you get alot more attention. The celica feels like a proper sports car.

The only valid competitors would be Honda integra, alfa GTV 3.0, not many... I mean Ive humiliated porsches (boxters and older porsches) and other reputable european cars with my T sport.

... of course I want to get Celi, I just need few more reasons to spend $27k ;-)

What exactly is Powersport chiptuning? I am unware of any ECU upgrades for Celica...?!

The engine of my car has been tuned by the Swiss company Powersport. The HP went up from 142 HP to 165 HP. The torque went up from 170 Nm to 188 Nm at 4600 rpm

Hi Guys i am from Greece how are you???Currently i drive an old Celica Supra 5mGE with 170hp 2.7ltr motor..But i am planning to get the new Celica TS after her debute at Paris auto show.Currently the TS costs here 34950Euros...Rather expensive.
The restyled Celica TS will have as standard>
1.HID lights
2.LSD standard
3.VSC
4.BA
5.EBD
6.Bigger front disc brakes
7.Different colour options
The price is going to be a tad higher though around 35500Euros..
What do you think??Does it worth it..??

Dear Garetto,,i think theyre gonna lower the price of the tsport here in Greece because of the common pricing policy all over EU.This means that in a few months the price of all cars all over EU for all the cars is gonna be the same...Lets hope...

BTW....where are you from??Ive been in Barcelona and Tarragona also and it was pretty cool..About the same with Greece..
