View Full Version : RMM Kit Rear

I will be receiving a Rod Millen kit rear valence soon. I have the stock gt-s exhaust and I was wondering if it would damage the rear. If so, what is the best option under $100 to fix this? I don't want a trd extended etc. - too much $.

Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

ah,,,,,,well the action package doesnt come with a extended exhaust so i dont think it would melt it,,i have the rmm rear with stock exhaust ,,,i dont think it would melt it,,,but then again i havent had it long enough to tell,,,

Melting the bumper is a worse case scenario. But thats what could possibly "damage" the rear. Another scenario is say after you bought a brand new rear, paid to get it fitted and painted...then sooner or later you find out the fumes escaping via the stock exhaust start the discoloration process. I

So what should I do --> Just get a body shop to weld an extension on - or am I OK stock? Any other options?

A muffler shop would be able to easily extend your exhaust out about 2 inches. Shouldn't cost more than $50 either. I have an idea for you too. Shoot me an e-mail, and I will give you the details.
