go to www.clonegts.com He has a good how to guide there. It's on the outside of the lens by the way. You can get Testors at Wal-Mart for a couple of dollars. ;)

Man, both of these options are good...they will vastly improve the look of the rear lights...
I still haven't decided if I want to paint the lights, or get Bat's kit...
Painting requires removal of the lights, but from there it's pretty easy. Bat's kit doesn't require light removal and it's pretty simple to apply the vinyl, as long as you use the 'wet method', which is spraying a soapy water solution on the lights and vinyl, and working the water out with a squegee...
I think that the paint might be more durable though. I usually overdo stuff, so with Bat's kit, I would want to spray some light clear coat on it, to make a good seal and form a hard surface. If I do that, it would be better to just paint the light anyway...
Good luck,
Usman

To address any durability issues, I've had my tails done for a year and a half now with no indoor storage. All 100+ degree direct sunlight, snow, ice, rain...you name it.

Can you paint directly over the yellow and still get good results? Or do you have to heat gun and scrape the yellow cellophane off first?

Paint directly over it

bat's v-9 kit all the way!! painting is to easy to mess up. you may get ripples, grainy look to them, and a host of other probs. the red vinyl just goes right over and it's clear so it looks oem!! no orang shows! not on the bottom, edges, no where. and install is a breeze. just spray water w/ soap on the tail light and put the vinyl on, adjust it as you like and just push the water out. and you're done:)
