nothing too bad coming out of my mouth.....

the funny part was Halltech (when it's spelled Haltech). Let's just say Haltech isn't really the cream of the crop. Motec (spelling?) is much better than Haltech (one of the better choices used by top engineering schools in Formula SAE). Personally I'd look into an Electromotive TecII system (www.electromotive-inc.com) as well.

ACT 4-puck clutch....it's a unsprung clutch, so driveability goes down, and kiss his axles goodbye. The 4-speed auto is going to die soon also.

Man I hope he's got a lot of money saved up.

I agree... same goes for me, nothing too bad coming out of my mouth.

I think more people are going to start paying attention when they realize how fragile the auto transmissions are. There are a couple of people on the Camry forum that are having some problems with 4psi boost on their auto tranny. I think someone said... "They're capable of running 250+ hp no problem, and have gearing that is better suited to higher power/higher top speed."

As an owner of a Camry V6 auto I'd like to impart my impressions. For applications in which boost is present, the automatic transmission will NOT last very long unless boost is cut between shifts. That is the reason that TRD provided a EBC to cut boost between shifts and in first. There are a couple of people who have removed the EBC of which most are complaining of slipping gears. Don't let this happen to you!

EDIT: All of these guys knew what they were doing, all have ATF coolers. And I believe all have much experience previous to their S/C Camrys and installed the S/Cs themselves. So these are NOT some idiots that did neutral dumps everyday.

I don't want to see anyone with blown motors or trannies. Just keep it safe and monitor your EGT and tranny temps. And keep in mind that you CAN let off if the temps get too high.
