power antenna switch

Does any know for a fact if the basic 01-2 GT sound system has a lead to operate a power antenna? We bought a cover for Driver's Celica, but need to be able to lower the antenna to use it.

I'm pretty sure that the basic system like the premium doesn't have an extra lead that is not in use to be attached to a power antenna. Check out this link for an idea of how it was done on the premium system: power antenna (http://www.celica-garage.cityslide.com/articles/article.cfm/522/153) . Search around this site, somebody has posted the electrical wiring diagram if you need info for the basic system.

On a side note, you could always just unscrew the antenna. The 10 sec that it would take to do is probably less time over the car's lifetime than the install of a power one.
