Catback Vers Axleback On A Gt

On a gts its not worth to get a cat-back because the stock piping is 2.25 inches, which is the same size as the aftermarket cat-backs. On the gt the piping is only 2 inches. I have an axle-back exhuast already, would i get anymore noticable power if i upgrage my stock piping to 2.25 and is it worth the money.

i have a GT with custom 2 1/4" piping from the cat. I had the resonator taken off. I got the apexi n1 muffler. It is very very loud.

I have a feeling this is going to be another thread in which people dispute over "backpressure." But I always thought that increasing the piping size would not help unless you were running some other engine mods.

This thread didn't start out too newbie, but I'm gonna make it better: is the TRD exhaust catback or axleback? :D
