i'm talking about the HID banna (Ben) is doing a gb on the gb forum. they claim to be the same as the regular HID's (which u have to splice wires and so on) but all u do on this HID is plug it in and its done. so basically, they're HID's that u just replase the old bulbs.

umm...they are HID's.........plug and play only means you don't hafta do all of this:
http://clonegts.com/mods/hid_install/index.htm
The kit is a HID kit....which is made to fit the H7 Size bulb housing stuff.....you'll see when i'm done.
The gb is for an H7 HID conversion kit...as in....a HID kit...converted to fit the H7 housing....
If you read the gb and all the info in it...you'll see that these kits are made form 100% Philips components which are made in Germany.

please people. it's not that hard to add a wire to secure it in. I don't know about all of that other stuff he did, I didn't do that to mine and there is nothing wrong with it. Besides, adding a rubber spacer to make the fit perfect...does that come with the kit? Any of the "respectable" kits out there will work fine.

I agree with ToyoGT. The only reason why it's not that easy to make a "plug and play" kit for the Celica is because of the way the bulb/capsule is held inside the projectors. The clip is desined to work with a bulb using an adaptor that serves as a spacer. Like ToyoGT says, it's really not that hard to add the wires yourself just as long as you remove the head lamps. I have an install write-up in the install section. Just PM me if you have any questions or if you'd like a hook up on an HID conversion kit. My shop is an official McCulloch HID dealer.

Hey RADR1732, I just bought a H7 kit from Mculloch. All I have to say is DOPE!!! It fires up sort of like the Lexus HID's but looks brighter. I am very pleased. But what is this "adapter" that was mentioned in the instructions. I didn't have anything in the box that resembled an "adapter" for the capsule (fitment), so I just used that foam peice that was packed w/ the capsules. I put the capsule in then that foam peice and locked the wire that holds the OE bulbs. It fits but I wanna know if that was it. I'll post pics when I get my rims. Very nice setup though and small ballasts/igniters, good for installation in our cramped engine bay. I got the 4500K ones.

All you have to do is to bend the stock clip to fit the hid h7 base, not so hard to do, come on!!!

The adaptor they are talking about is actually the little black piece that allows you to plug in the stock wiring harness into the balast for the source of power. It is very nice I like my unit a lot. What I like about it the most is the fact that I can run them in the morning and that have my head lights look pink. My old Vision HID (6000K) gave it a "pink lemonaide" look to my projectors. These just gave it a very pure white light. I have the PIAA ion yellow H1 for my fog lamps so it looks a lot like the IS300. Yes it does have a great start up. It has a slightly purple color in the beginning and then brightens up to a very bright pure white color. I'm less worried about getting pulled over with these because of the pure white color in them (knock on wood). I will talk to them about a possible group buy. I want every who's been looking for an HID conversion system to be able to try these out and see for themselves the difference.
