Last night on the 476 there was a truck that had some kind of materials on the back of his truck. A bucket of it fell off the back and splattered this stuff all over the highway catching me and about 5 other cars. I seen it this morning and it looks like silver paint or something of that nature. I t's all over the front bumper, part of my hood and on my windshield. I am going to get my car waxed today after work and if it doesn't come out I may need to get my front end repainted. Do any of you know if insurance will cove that? Please help. It looks ugly.:(

Also I forgot to mention it's on my mirrors and fenders too. Pretty much cover the front end.

Yes, Insurance will cover the damage but, you'll be required to pay your deductible. Your rates will not go up. It will be covered under your comprehensive claims I believe.

Thanks Brian. I didn't want to call them and sound like an idiot and they tell me they couldn't do anything.

No prob man... it also depends on who your insured through... but, regardless of that, it will be covered.
Chig is right about the insurance. It happened to me two years ago and I just paid the $500 deductable and got my whole car repainted.I should have had them paint it a different color though.

its a shame you don't have the tag of the truck....if you had it, your insurance company would probably make the truck's insurance pay and you wouldn't have to pay the deductible
