My friend has a Civic DX with a Injen Short Ram, Greddy Exhaust, DC Sports Headers, Custom Ignition wires, and an AEM pulley. I got my mods done last week but before then with all his stuff, he was equal to my bone-stock Celica GT. Now that I have just pulleys and a CAI, I'm kicking his ass again. His expenses are well over a 1,000 bucks and my stock ran equal to him and his mods.

That just rules. Wanted to share that. Be proud of your GT!!

Dude not to disrespect my friend has an ex (sohc vtec) with a 4 into 1 header cai, exhaust v-afc, and the ignition, and I pump him day in and day out (racing wise u sick ****s). And my gt is bone stock, I got **** sitting in the garage though . ;)

I call BS, the GT is so fast that you would still be hitting your breaks and wouldn't have time to type this story. :shocked

Well, I absolutely slaughter him now with my CAI installed. Poor Civic owners :) When will they learn? Bring on an Si!!!

Good job bro..You should have been spanking ur buddy with your car stock, though. I hand it to EX's daily. One quick question...everyone keeps telling me how a stock SI would kill a stock GT...How come i can't find an SI that can beat me? I tend to beat SI's by half a car at LEAST...
At any rate..keep showing those Hondas what the deal is..:D BUt don't get too cocky and get slaughtered by a hybrid...

Thanks PBI, but I think it's pretty killer that my stock GT (at that time bone stock) beat his modded car (the headers make quite a difference). Also, he's a pretty experienced racer and former RX-7 (1993) owner. He's quick on the green light. I also can't ait to race an Si now since I got the pulley and CAI, I know I can beat them, I feel it. Just wait till I get my exhaust.
