HELL YES!!!
Ford will cover all the costs of my headgasket repair, new maf and a new airfilter. all i have to pay is $50 towards the entire thing. the heads have already been shipped out for inspection of cracks, or warping. if they are bad, ill be getting new heads.
All this and im out of warranty by 12k, and have all modifications on the car.

Not at all like my experience with my last Ford. 36,465 miles on the clock and an existing problem, identified and temporarily fixed at ~33,000 with a misfire on cylinder 2 cropped back up. New wiring harness after identifying the short that caused the problem in the first place and labor to install it were not covered despite my spending two weeks trying to fight over the issue. No modifications on the car at all. Most of my family works for Ford and despite the fact I can get A-Plan I'll never buy another Ford product.

I thought there was a recall out on the Head Gasket for the V6 in the Mustang? Or was that just for the earier models?

only affected the 94-98 models..the 99+ got a triple layered metal gasket. i am the only person that is known to have blown these. then again my motor has always been slower than it should have been for the mods, so weak gaskets make perfect sense.
heads are being milled and inspected..more CR...umm..i really hope that once its back together, ill be where i should be time wise(mid to high 14's at 94-96)

7. Quality control and reliability
American cars should be presumed to be built to 1978 levels of quality control. When you wish to demonstrate how much more reliable your car is, use either Consumer Reports or an account of some American car built in the late 70's or early 80's that some family member owned and afterwards swore never to by another American car. Brag about how your car is going to last 150,000 miles, and state that none of the domestics owned by your critics
will last that long, even if some of them have somehow managed to keep a domestic car on the road for over 200,000 miles with an unrebuilt engine. Remember, closing your mind is your best defense about being confused by facts.
