Depends on how much fender gap you have and how much you want to eliminate.

Welp, I'm on a 1.8" drop w/16's. I think it sits perfect for 16's but that's my opinion. See sig for pic.

If you are looking for a good ride quality with a substantial drop then you should go with a set of full coilovers. There are a few companies out there that have full setups. Tanabe Sustec (spelling probably incorrect), Tein makes 2 or three different setups, Apexi also has a setup. These setups can run you, ballpark 1,000 up to 2,000. They carry a hefty price tag, but they also allow you to adjust the height of your vehicle to any desired position, along with adjustments on the shocks for desired ride quality.
I have had 3 lowered vehicles in my driving career and I have gone through all the ups and downs of suspensions --- from (forgive me) cutting springs (old school), to lowering springs and camber kits, to shocks, to now full suspension setup. If you want the ultra low look without sacrificing your ride quality tremendously, then you should seriously look into a full coilover setup. Remember --- (heafty price in the beginning) beats (low cost and later having to replace shocks, balljoints and the like) you don't want to be nickle and dimed in the long run. The full setup will not disappoint you.

Hotchkis also makes a setup --- they are actually more than 2000, the last time I checked about 2 months ago.

Is there a coilover setup that allows you to ride at or extremely close to stock height?
