Germany peepo please help

Are the gauges on your celicas different (xcept the kmph/mph part)?? Can someone post a pic of them? I'd really appreciate your help. Also, what are rear fog lights?????:confused:

the gauges are not different in any other way but the kmph/mph.
Rear fog lights are a euro safety feature for when visabilty is low..ie fog. They light up like brake lights when turned on. Ugly IMHO but useful im sure:)

soceur ain't right there. i showed him this weekend. if you pull up the handbrake a red sign shows up, reading: "BRAKE" on all US-Spec celicas. whereas the EU-Spec celicas get a nifty little handbrake sign. oh yeah, and depending on what year your car is made, the redline starts earlier on US-Spec than the EU-Spec.

hehe, i was joking ... of course that doesn't count as being different. i just wanted to point out that they aren't identical. but who cares anyway? i'd trade in my eurospec celica into an us-one *WITH* a us-registration anytime !!!!!!!


turbo, big ass tennisball-hiding-muffler, tint all around, koni adjustables, hid, neon-lighting interiour+exteriour, etc. etc. etc.

I still dont get why u need it in the back... so where on the gauge would it show that its on? pics pleez if possible:)

EU differ to US spec in several ways.

The ECU mappings are obviously different as different laws and homolgations require it.

The shock and spring assembly are smaller on US spec cars.

EU spec has read fog lights, its is useful because people can see you better from behind on when there is fog or bad visibility, that way it may prevent someone rear ending you!

EU spec has the radio antenna on the roof.

EU spec comes with brushed aluminium side steps.

EU spec comes with digital climate control

other little details differ.
