I need some help. I am currently running 2 10" pioneer subs. I was wondering that what would happen to the sound quality if I add an additional 12" pioneer sub to my system.
Thanks

If properly amped and wired I don't see how it would hurt you. May be a bit overkill but it is up to you.

Running multiple subs of different sizes can cause problems.Try to avoid it. But if you must, make sure the 10s are crossed over from 80-100hz to about 50hz.Then cross the 12 over at roughly 50hz on down. This can be done, but SQ will most likely suffer without plenty of trial and error.

yeah running multiple subs of different sizes suck because different sizes hit bass differently, i forget what it's called, (bad reverb or something). think of it like this.
2 small guys hitting a drum.
1 fat heavy guy hitting a drum.
the 2 small guys will give you good booms and consistent. the 1 fat guy will give you a good hard boom but will take him a wee longer. soo you get inconsistent sound.
