Celica GT vs. RSX (Premium Model)

Don't like to say it but same driver in both car he would go faster in RSX. Why is there a foul tast in my mouth....

By "RSX (Premium Model)", I assume you mean non-Type S, right?

I got a chance to ride in a Type S, and it felt so much like the GT-S (even in the second cam), but more refined. The engine sounded quiter and smoother, and it didn't have as much of a connected-to-the-road feeling due to all the sound dampening and somewhat different suspenion. I would imagine the regular RSX would be similar to the GT in that respect.

Also something to note, the Type S comes with crappy tires, so the regular RSX should have tires that are just as bad, if not worse. They limit the handling abilities of the car. I'm not sure how good the stock tires on the GT are, though.

Basically, the Celica gives you a more direct feel of the what's going on with every part of the car; feeling the bumps in the steering wheel and seat, hearing the engine roar. The RSX isn't far off from that, but it does seem more refined and somewhat more isolated from the road (it should since it's an Acura).

Oh yeah, like cool2miketlu said, the RSX is faster. But in the end, it still looks like a Civic! :p

Have you guys been to clubrsx.com? Most of the Type S times posted are slower than mine. So, I'm really not worrying about the base RSX too much.

but on the smae note Maeflyn if our 1/4 database wa working youd notice most of the GTS times on here are slower then ur GT :)

haha I don't think that's so true? Many track newbies are ripping off mid to high 14s without problems. I still haven't seen a 14 second RSX-S time slip and all the ones at Capitol are SLOOW
