nevermind defending it - you ever heard of the fox that claimed the grapes were sour because he couldn't reach them? Enjoy driving it while them fools continue to hammer their keyboards man - I know I would ;)!

Listen up kiddies, most of the details have already been brought into the light on the other thread I had, but, I'll kiss and tell again. The TURBO is a stage 2 Turbo Preformance kit. She hasn't been dyno'd yet because I'm still fine tuning the car with some other adjustments. The whole car is complete with a power chip, TRD Exhuast, NEW! torque converter from a company called Level 10, solinoids, valve body re-done (by choice), Kaminari Body kit, and the turbo from turbo performance (T-3/T-4 Garret), Blitz Blow-off valve (loud as hell), Stage 2 Inter-cooler, and air-intake (K/N airfilter). Inside for the turbo it's all Hard piping and I'm running 5lbs of boost. Level 10 is helping alot with transmission preformance www.levelten.com. Install of the car was done at this garage in Poughkeepsie NY www.visionsofspeed.net. Pics of the engine are in the old thread that I had so go check them out. So thats the game folks... Maybe some of you cats should stop complaining about my WIP and worry about your own SLOW TURDS. By the way it's quick! So Back up! Oh yeah and Neon lights don't make your car go faster. Neither does, stickers, S2000 antenna's, 18" chromies, or 12 foot Aluminum Airplane spoilers.

hay don't have to be nasty dude... Sure its nice that you have turbo and some of peps may complain but you can ignore those peps. As for the rest of us we are interested in how it is running as a daily driver, so reliability issue is important.
BTW I do not see any nasty or complaints uptop by any of the posters so why you baggin on them? They just ask questions like you requested, no hating anywhere. You gotta cool down dude.

I echo Mike's sentiments completely. I can't speak for everyone else on the other thread, but I myself showed nothing but respect for your project, oxhoof. However, I DID ask for more info about it (i.e. pics, dynos, etc.). Is that considered flaming to you? It wasn't intended to be.

did you build up the internals any? what did you do about the high compression? and how much did this cost in all? (parts, labor, etc.). I havent flamed you at all either, im very interested in this and would like to know more. Congrats on getting it up and running :)

For those serious about the Turbo GT-S
The compression is still stock high 11.5.1
stock internals on the car. just bolt on
running only 5 psi
The car feels like stock when i don't push it.
Feels very quiet and smooth. When i floor it its gets pretty dam loud.

if you got wiseco pistons with a lower comp. ratio, could you run higher boost? If that is possible, it maybe a good investment for you....they only cost $525 from monkeywrenchracing.com and you can get them made to any compression ratio. just a suggestion.

You are not that far from my shop.... I would love it if you stopped by sometime... PM me lemme know.
---Charlez13---
he would need pistons and rods...
as well as a fuel management system.... power FC, Haltech....ect.... then he'll be able to make very respectable #s

I doubt it.. U probabaly meant gts though.. I dont think he will get those times either.. My guess he be as fast as a M/T GTS with a driver that can stay in lift..

hmmm...so you have an auto GT-S with this turbo? not manual? i am just wondering because i dont see it posted in here. I can see you have a torque converter, so does this mean it's an auto gt-s ? thanks (:

all you have to do is come to the shop... I'll build you a kit no problem. Price will vary depending on what you want to do... internals, ballbearing turbo, ect.... I will not do a turbo unless we do stand alone management.

I would love to help you out with it....
There is one thing that you should know right up front though... rightnow there is almost nothing really to tune with on the car..
unless you did some sort of engine management system...
the only thing I could really do would be adjust the timing(but your stock computer is going to mess with it) and adjust your fuel pressure.
to tune the car properly we will have to do several things
1. new fuel system(pump, regulator, return line, injecters
2. engine management system
3. Boost controller (if you do not have one)
4. sparkplugs
those are the basics we could get some OK power from there.... to really maximize the performance a piston/rod combination will be needed....tooooooo much compression with the stock pistons...stop by sometime or call the shop and we can discuss what you wanna do and what kinda $$$ it will be.
Regaurdlesss if we work on the car or not I would like to see the kit.

No kidding - hey LarryD you reading this? - how about a user contributed (rather than advertised) shop directory? You could require a list & pics of the work that was done to prevent shop owners to toot their own horn ;).
