Has anybody blown a GT ENGINE? Why the heck do I have oil over the underneath of my engine. Before it died I was in 4th gear at about 3K and it had no power wasn't moving forward at all. Dropped it down to 3rd and it popped my oil light came on and my CEL came on 10 minutes after I pulled it over and it died. Somebody told me I threw a rod and put a hole in my block.. Any other suggestions? Please help me out it happened like an hour ago and I'm worried about it now. Damnit

Ive blown my GT engine. I dont think your engine is blown, there must be a leak when you installed the headers. You should check that. BTW how are the headers working out for yah?

Spanish, ouch man, that sucks. Did you check if your oil drain plug is still there? Could be all the blood ran out and it siezed. What did it sound like when it 'popped'? Was there lots of loud mettalic slamming of its guts or did she die quietly? Gaps

I dont get it, you can have a oil leak if you improperly install headers....how? Unless of course you must move the pan and then mess that up...is that it? Thanks, Gaps

She was noisy. She mad loud pop. Headers hava been on for like 3 weeks now. Headers not a problem. The header is running good though. Ok its not an oil leak why? Because their is oil all under the the intake manifold. So unless the oil decided to crawl up to the intake mani then its coo otherwise I'm thinking Rod blown hole in the block. *SIGH* My baby.
