Most of the kits are marked down along with their hoodscoop. its only $99. Is their scoop the one that doesn't fit right or was that the c-one scoop?

Quality is bad. I got my hood scoop from them, an im replacing it with TRD-GT's hoodscoop, it has better quality. Fitting is guaranteed.

I got my MB scoop to fit after about 6 hours of sanding / bondo and it still isn't perfect. They won't screw you over, but shipping took a long time and the support line is less than competent . You get what you pay for. I was strapped for cash, and I have a good looking scoop now. I would not recommended ordering a painted scoop however. I wouldn't trust the fitment.

yeah.. my scoop from mb wasn't all that great.. the finish needed more finishing, and the fit was about 98% good.. i should've sanded before painting, but i didn't, and the damn body shop didn't :(

then, it hit my windshield when my cf hood flew open... i think it's time for a trd-gt one

I understand what you're going through vatik. I'm right in the middle of sanding/ bondoing it and it's now finally starting to look good. Body shops wanted $225 for the prep and paint work thats why I decided to do it myself.

I would recomend another kind of hoodscoop unless you're willing to put alot of work into the MB one.

225 for paint and prep, damn that's alot of money! My local toyota dealer did it for 60 bucks. Mine fits ok, i think it's making noise though against my hood when moving out of first, sounds horrible. I have to investigate more.
