got an RSX and a.. Del Sol! :)

Well, lemme tell the Del Sol first, it's funny. At a red light, there was a stock/near stock one next to me. Green light, he takes off, I was clueless that we were racing! The guy was apparently staring at my passenger while doing this too.. So of course I drop it and take off, pass him QUICK and fly on by. He wasn't staring while we were passing him.. :)

Now to the fun part.. I have yet to stoplight race a new RSX, but this was close. I was behind this guy coming down 400S in heavy traffic. Big wreck, all lanes closed. When we were diverted to I-85S, it opened up to no traffic. I knew he was gonna floor it, so I was waitin at 6k. Sure enough, he takes off, and I don't waste any time. Probably got up to about 120 or so, and a few times I had to let off so I wouldn't rear end him.. :) It was pretty damn close though. No exhaust, I'm assuming he was stock.

Cool man. I was coming home from shopping the other night and had a white RSX-S in front of me. He was weaving in and out of traffic. I had my wife and daughter in the car with me so I didn't follow. A couple miles went by and we wound up at a light side by side but with cars in front of us. I saw him looking over cause he didn't have tinted windows. Light turns green and everyone took off normal traffic driving. After driving side by side for a few gears, he dropped back to a half car behind me. I think he was looking to see if I was a GT-S. Seeing that I was he pulled back up beside me and revved real high 3 times. He took off what he could being in traffic. My wife said "don't even think about it". And I wouldn't have anyway with my daughter being in the car and all. Oh, well opportunity missed. Nice runs man!!

Was it the type-s?

I'm sure it was if you have a gts. Those rsx's are fast, but the gts is a good match for it. You guys got the better tires, if you both are running on stock tires from a dead stop, gts will most likely get the jump.

Honda- Yeah, he was an S, I wouldn't have bothered otherwise, I don't race too often and don't want to get busted over an easy kill. I actually have a set of 17" SSR's with Bridgestones, so I know I have a tire advantage. Don't think that played in too much from a roll though. It was a good race, I'd like to meet that guy again. Finally someone in Atlanta who wants to have some fun.
