Can anybody explain the work involved putting these on our celicas. Personally, i think they look awesome and one of the best appearance mods for the celica (beside the vertical doors coming out soon from DECAH) But anyway, i would just like to know some of the details like price and procedure for this mod. And lastly, anybody who would know a good shop capable of doing this is the Buffalo New York Area? New York City Area or New Jeresey are other areas that im able to go have an excuse to go to.

unrelated... I think it completely messes up the side of the car. IMO.

but to each his own..... some people on this site have done it.

why dont You use MRS (MR2) vents i think they look better.

work to be done
-take off rear 1/4 (pain in the ars)
-cut hole in rear 1/4
-mold vent w/ bondo and/or fiberglass
-repaint 1/4
re install

you're look at a 1500+ job here...

i think it does not match the lines of the car, unless they are a lil bit lower than the one pictured above... then maybe it'll be a lil bit cleaner...

NO ONE do the MR2 vents because I have them and i dont want anybody to copy me. and its costs 3000 for that job to be done. I think the NSX looks phat.

That silver celi is SWEET. The side vents look great.

how long will it take you to get pix of your MR2 vents and new paint job :rolleyes:

I mean honestly. Doesn't anyone look at this and just see a big HOLE in the side of a flat sided car?

I mean it'd be different if there was a canal (better descriptive word?) there, but there isn't.

I mean look at a mustang, it has a ridge all the way down the door and it leads to a sort of vent like that.

Same with the MR2.

Initially it looks OK. but really look at it. WTF is goin on there? just a hole in the side of that car.

i saw that car in person at nopi and they do look a little out of place. interesting idea, but it just doesn't work out that well in my opinion.
