Man, back in the dayz. Back in the muthaf*ckin dayz. Sh*at u bringin tears, bro. :bowdown:

But let's not forget EuGeNiLe GTS. One of the youngest and most enthusiastic members of the 7th gen OG crew. Don't let the post counts or his youthful vigor fool you. He know's his sh*t and is highly respected in the Norcal Celica community. Despite going through a lot in life he's held on to his Celica roots and still reps no matter what. Along with phewl and a select few, these guys rep on the streets like no other 7th gens did. :headbang:

Psionic Pulse.. he came in the middle.. very cool guy.. likes to just have fun.. he had his own set of drama though.. still talk to him everynow and then.. moved and really no where close to the bay.. but it was fun wen he was around.. i think i was the very first celi owner he met wen he just moved to fremont.. wel hope all is well with him.. i know there are other people here with some memories with psionic pulse.. hehe, but im not saying.

Yeah, that was Willie Ho. He was the first in the bay with the WW kit, 1st with exhaust, 1st with the RMM intake, and 1st with the springs. But school called, so his car stopped. I've got his kit on my car now, and another friend of mine has his intake, exhaust and RMM Strut Bar (that used to be mine that I gave to Willie.)

wus up everyone...yeah I wish i was involved back when everyone started...kinda got into it a tad too late...all the OG racers' car got jacked somehow...I remember the first time I met up with Gene back in January of this year. He showed me around and stuff. That night I also met up with Yves and Jason. Those were the times. Then after that I kept driving to San Jose every weekend...that put ton of miles on my car but its well worth it. Hanged out with the celica crowd, represented the celica to the rest of the racers...showing them that the celica is a quick car and not a slow car like everything thought it was. Too bad the scene over there is dead, hopefully it will pick up again...I missed the action...well just wanted to say wus up...take it easy...lates

Gosh I remember those fun days. That day at Sac was great. It was pretty funny watching the cop race. Yep It's been a while since I've seen any of you all. I still lurk on the boards occasionally. Dragonknight: what am i saying, he is still around too.. very very OG. and even wen he's moved on to a faster car, he still sticks with his roots. pay your respects to this guy. the wiseman

ArchangelX: no longer in norcal so he probably doesnt post here anymore, but still very active in nc.org. at the time prob. had a gts closest to beating the infamous phewl 67. i should know.. i was driving his car wen i almost beat him. grr

HEY! I dont remember taking this picture, why am I in it?? I remember when I first got my car and went to the runs, I saw Phewl there and he had the PHR CAI. We were suppose to run that night but everytime we lined up we had to run cause of cops. I probably wouldve gotten my ass handed to me, LOL. I know Willy has family down in Socal, he drove there almost every other weekend, he told me he was giving his Celi to his younger bro and was getting a euro. Who knows.....

oh yeah, the good ol' days back then. i think it was Justin who took that picture of all of us because he didn't want to be in the picture. i definantly miss those days, we all had some good times. I remember checking out all the celica's back at the big meet at D&B, my car didn't even have license plates yet, and Chris's stereo was like the main attraction. I think cliff's car had the most performance parts to start off with. Me and Eugene were like the 2 youngest at 18. And i remember that party Rich had at his apartment me, eugene, alan, and sean were there and i can't remember if anyone else went too. We definantly had some fun.

Hey hey hey!! i blame it on my transmission which was getting warm from continous racing. :( but i cant ever forget that sac meet @ the base. Everyone knew that we were gonna race each other again. and the moment Avan walked into the restaurant everyone was like ooooooooh. it was all hyped up. the funny thing was that the day before Avan IM'd me asking what if anything i was going to do to my car.. i was like oooh nothin much.. maybe some weight reduction.. take out the spare and such. I asked him what he was goingt to do and he said the same...
hehe the day of the meet, we both came out with no spare and no front passenger seat, but i had unbolted my exhuast :) and that day i did justice to auto gts's everywhere. :D all the good ol days. Avan!! where yah at!!

Hopefully, SOON, the few remaining will be able to get together again.

I'm all for it...espescially if I get my way, and get my transfer to Travis AFB.

Do I qualify as an OG? I was surfing the boards (that other site was a bit more popular back in the day) before I got my Celi in 2000, but I was in Colorado. Now I'm back in Cali and kickin it. Remember that one small meet with me and my CRV with an intake? I also remember meeting Rich, Angel and Sean at that Mogolian BBQ! And meeting Willieho at 1st Street Billiards! And how about Willow Springs II, missed the first one :(

I've been hiding out...trying to get back into the workplace or rather any workplace. Don't really frequent any forum anymore, cause I'm staring at a computer 12 hours a day, 6 days a week!! And my station doesn't allow access to the internet.

As for the CRV, my dad has it and lets me use it when the snowboarding season starts!! :)

Oh geez, I just visited this site out of the blue and seeing these old threads really got me nostalgic. Seeing my name in this thread just made me dig up the old NewCelica.org account. :)

I moved to New York City for grad school back in Summer 2002 and have been here ever since (I can't believe it's been almost 4 years since I left the Bay Area). My poor car is still with me, although I can't say NYC has been the best thing for it. However, having that car's been a lifesaver more times than I care to count.

Hope all of you old-timers are doing well, and with any luck, I'll be back in the sunny bay area soon! (it was 18 degrees here in Brooklyn earlier this week!)

I joined in kinda late... summer 2001, damn the sac meet at the air field looked like it woulda been hellla fun! But seriously seeing all the OG names brings me back... well the ones I've met at least. Sucks that most of them don't have the Celica anymore but hey people move onto bigger and better things!

But the meets were always fun... Union City Krispy Kreme, D&B and the damn rent-a-cops...

I just realized I joined this site exactly 5 years ago. Whoa can't believe I've been surfing this forum for so long!

wasup folks..damn havnt been on here for a long time..jus as benji said, i shoulda been in the celi scene when i got my car..was a lurker for about a year then finally joined up..haha..crazy how i still lurk on here from time to time..u never kno tho..i might come back with that GTS ive always wanted to get.. ;)

this thread should be deleted. most of the OG's are gone and moved to other things. a new generation is already active. Pat, myself, and very few still have celi's.

Went to my first CELICA meet in San Francisco in 2004. (NorCal Celica's & EverythingCELICA.com CELICA meet)
Ever since my first meet in 2004 I've rarely missed out on a NorCal CELICA meet in the bay area.
Oh and ummm....I still own a 2003 Toyota CELICA GT and Im proud of it. :headbang:
