I saw this in Long Island today. I laughed very hard when I saw it. I should consider selling Celica WRX Type R stickers for a living.

I thought he was being sarcastic when he said there was an s2000 mercedes, but it is hard to tell from the computer. Doesn't Honda offer some car that has a similar name?:D

Bah, I'd check the history. That looks like Mercedes lettering to me, and I think the S2000 on the side of the roadster is smaller than that.

But the Razo is funny.....tuned with a shift knob maybe?

Clone:

It's a new gen S-class... No S2000 produced during those years. I think the tuning shop added it to denote their "S2000" package???

All I know is that the phat S-class is the S55 AMG, and not the "S2000" ;)

I guess the guy just went nuts and what he meant was S-series and 2000 is the year, when the vehicle was made.
I bet you, he might not know about honda s2000 at alll!
The other tuning sticker is cheezy, because it's cheap. He should have put RENNtech (or Dinan at least ;))

ACTUALLY, Razo is a German car tuner that is just hitting the states. Razo tuning and RAZO are 2 different companies. They do high end S series Benz's and BMW, usually E30 and E36 models. They do some 8 series as well in BMWs

the S2000 writing is not the same as Honda's. the font is mercede's. this presents a huge question if mercedes doesn't offer that model.

and although RAZO and Razo may be different companies, imo the writing style looks like the japanese version.

I still don't buy that as a fake labeling......the font is Mercedes. Either someone went to some serious trouble to have someone make them a fake S2000 badge in mercedes font so that it would confuse the hell out of us that actually know that is Mercedes writing.........hell, I dunno.

I'd doubt someone with the money to buy a Mercedes would want to label it as a Honda that is considerable cheaper, less luxurious, possibly slower......

Just to clear thigns up for those who couldn't figure this out... there's no reason that had to be a custom made emblem.

They're all individual pieces. All soemone had to do was get a 2 and three 0's from the E320 lettering, or any other Mercedes with a 2 and a 0.

Doesn't take much effort to put that together. It's a fake, and why some idoit would do it, I have no clue.

The S2000 part looks like a photochop to me. The 2 looks like it's at a slightly different angle from the rest of the lettering, like it was copied from a different car.

And the numbers in a Mercedes designation give the size of the engine. I.e., S500 has a 5 L engine, S600 a 6L, etc.

I think its the real deal.... I've seen some strange badgings on diff. mercedes ... Like the Brabus mercedes has a non engine size designation... so yes i wouldnt doubt if it was a real "s2000" mercedes... whatever that may be. Other thing is that whatever car it was it started off at least as an s500 ... thats the lowest trim that the chrome molding is available in. Which means that someone would have to be really f*cking stupid to pay 80G for a car and then put a 30G car sticker on it... my thoughts are its like buying the celica and putting a BMX sticker on the back.

guys, guys, guys! there is no such thing as an s2000 merc. take it from me, im a benz fanatic, i know them back-to-front. the letters are individual, and like posted earlier u can buy from benz 2 c200 badges, use the 2 and three 0's and put it after s, that why the angles are out since there all separate. anything else i bulls%@!
