Sup,
sorry for the n00b question, but I was just wondering what the litre of the engine is, why bigger is better, etc, etc....
is there any sites that give you in-depth information on easy stuff like this??

The whole liter thing refers to displacement. Usually, more displacement means more hp and a broader powerband.

F/I is simulated displacement...
High disp. N/A cars usually out-torque smaller disp. N/A cars though.
