Kinda dumb...Wouldn't it be the same thing as looking in a normal rearview? To see whats behind you???

well.. i do have mp3/dvd/gps, and i have a feeling, the motor on my deck will wear out over time if i keep opening/closing it, so i want it partly for keeping my deck intact, and partly for show.
