GST vs Turbo Prelude

tonight I was coming home from the mvoies and Im following this Prelude.. I hear a woosh sound and Im like WTF that awsnt me that did that.. Ill be damned its a turbo prelude.. so I follow this guy and Im gonna make a left and he is goign straigh.. I get up next to him rev to 4500 and shoot my BOV at him..he puts his blinker on and jumps behind me.. we ride down this one street to go out to the racing street and we are going back and forth a few times.. I figure I can get this guy judging by out little sprints..well we go all the way down this one street and the traffic was too mcuh to run so we did a u-turn.. this part pissed me off.. he is in frnot of me doing the U-turn and he gets out of the corner and takes off when I still in the middle of the U.. WTF.. so I floored it and took off after him.. spun badly through 1st but grabbed in 2nd and I paced him up to about 80ish.. when I left off.. I was ticked.. I really wanted to beat his ass ;)

My friend just got the F-Max kit for 99 Lude and that thing just rocks. The pull you get from the VTEC and the surge you get from the Turbo is intoxicating. I used to kick his ass every time we raced and he had I/E/H before the kit and now it's not even worth wasting gas. We pulled next to a Camaro SS a week ago and the guy said don't even bother and I look at my friend like what the FU$K!! From 1st he took us but as soon as the Turbo kicked in we pulled ahead of him in the shift into 2nd and we kept on pulling away all the way to the end of 4th and SS made a turn on a side street. I wish I had a picture of his face when he saw us pass him..

My friend has a Turbo LS, non Vtec, pushing only 9psi on stock internals. That thing pulls so hard it's not even funny. I've seen him beat up on Mustangs, Camaros, you name it. He even hung with a Corvette Z06 for a little while. I'm dying for him to go to the track but he doesn't want to abuse his axles and launch that thing. But in my mind it's a 12 sec car.

Turbos are the shiznit. I miss mine so much. I love my GT-S to death but nothing compares the to expresions you put on V8 owners faces when you fly past them. It's sad now though. If you want to beat alot of v8's in town now. You need at least a 12-11 sec. car. Many of the Stangs and Camaros don't fool around any longer. They all run at least 12's. I pick my fights carefully.

yeah it is fun having a turbo car.. Im curious as to what kinda #s Im pulling right now.. Ive been told with the mods I have right now I could hit high 13s.haha.. i doubt it but hell thatd be nice :)

Larry, what kind of BOV you have?
I have Blitz DD, and its quite intimidating when you rev high ehhehe. I can scare a few ricers on the street, well until they notice my stock tires

Hey TRD Liquid Silver, my friend was going to get a fmax turbo kit but it took too long to make so he canceled. He is probably gonna reorder this spring. Could ya tell me all the stuff your friend has done to his 'lude? (for the turbo, where did he get it tuned...) thanks.

oh boy, Greddy type S, those things are cool as hell.
I used to have this brand called GFB ( Go Fast Bits) BOV, was alright for the price, but I always get this funny partial openings when I dont punch my gas hard. But now with the new Blitz, I dont have that problem anymore, and it sounds way nicer :)
I need an electronic boost controler or Unichip :(

Sounds like it's time for a bigger turbo! I see Green? or maybe a T3/T4? so when u hit 2nd gear u still spin, hit 3rd and still spin :D then when u hit 4th u shoot past him till it seems like he stop movin and is stuck in Time :D

and ill have to buy new tires every month :)..haha nah.. not anytime soon.. plus its still up in the air on what turbo I really want.. Im thinking either the T28 ot 16g..

U sure about that? cause I know alot of people who said the same thing. 1st they start with a 16G then they want more power on pump with the bigger turbo. Get the B16G an some porting! then again your FWD so maybe bigger wouldn't be better.

im happy with my Big 16g, fully ported and clipped
have taken down some t3/t4 and 20g cars with it

There is more to a turbo car than just turbo selection... you got to have it tuned right. We have a 20G car in town that is just dog slow, but then again, if he gets the bugs worked out he should be pretty stinking fast.
