What happened to this kit? Chiggy was asking us about a kit for his car a while back and talked with someone about the blown kit and came back and told us that was what he was getting. So who was it and what happened to it? Did David get a hold of it? :chuckles:

that has to be the first body kit I would buy.... I like it it's clean and simply plus for me it does not look like it adds much to the bottom of the car

i kinda like it. but i think they had to make the car orange to make it look right. i think it'd look weird on a lot of colors. the front bumper isn't that great, but its not bad. the sideskirts are really cool in the pic, but i think they may not look so good in real life.

I love this kit....any word on it? Who was suppossed to make it anyway?...what company? It changes the car completely....makes it look like an exotic, and not an import with a kit.....the only thing I would change is the wing, though.

I like the kit. But I think the front sit lower than the sides. If you make the sides or the front the same flow, it would look better.

Yeah. LOL. I was being sarcastic. :) I love the kit. It is getting made. It should be fin'd and released this winter. I haven't made an official announcement because I don't know pricing yet. That's what everyone wants to know, and I don't have the answer. I just talked to a big high quality manufacturer today about the project, and it looks to be a go, but I'm in the middle of getting cad designs and line drawings finished for them. It's all a long process, but it will happen. I never realized how hard it is to get things made when quality is your top priority rather than quantity.
As for the hood. I scrapped the desing as the design did't flow to the point that I wanted it to in the wind tunnel. So I will be designing a more aero dynamic hood once the 7 peice body kit is finished so I can work with the body flow. But I really can't say much more than that.

The only thing I worry about is the sides not blending in w/ the rest of the car - like in the pic of the silver celica. It kinda ruis it IMO. If they do blend tho, like in orange and red pics, it looks 10x better.

I think the blown front bumper would look better if it has a hole for the emblems like kamarni fronts. Isn't there a purpose to have a hole in front top of the bumper?

Big exhaust-big power.
The swap is going good but will be on halt for 4 weeks. We are taking off in one hour to head to San Antonio for a NDRA race, then to Pamona, Ca for finals, then to SEMA for a week and a half in Vegas. So it will be that long till we get back and continue with the 3Ss swap on my Celica.

The small hole in the top bumper is the radiator grill that cools the engine. There still may be enough air flow in the engine compartment without it, but still, it's kind of distrubing that it's no longer there...

Update. Kit is getting produced. In talks with 2 major companies as to which gets to do it.
