Just Installed My Nx Kit

HEY ALL...

I just got my bottle filled today and did some testing on some empty roads in the middle of nowhere. Seems to be just slightly better on the 30 shot...but the 50 is good. :)

I have a few questions:

1. Is it bad to leave pressure in the lines overnight? I don't have a way to purge the line, so when I close the bottle, there is still about 800-900psi or so. Should I close the bottle and then go run the nitrous outta the line with a few quick/small runs? or will it be ok?

2. How long can the pressure remain in the line without causing damage to the lines or the selenoid?

I think that is it for now. Hope someone knows the answers to my questions.

Well, when you turn off your bottle, the pressure inside the lines eventually goes away, usually overnight... And NO, you should NOT run the car on the bottle when its closed, you will never know how long to run it for... If you want, just open a nitrous line and let the pressure out...

After I shut my bottle off...if the pressure is up in the 900's I will usually save it to pass someone hard in 2nd gear. ;)

I watch my pressure guage drop..when it gets to 700psi I let off the nitrous and purge the rest. Doing it this way I dont feel that I am wasting as much when I purge the whole line.

Not to mention after I close the bottle...for the pressure to drop from 950PSI to 700PSI with my 35shot it takes about 5 secs of full throttle...
