Anyone have problem with the colder non-iridium spark plugs for F/I when starting up their cars? It seems like it takes my car about a sec or two longer to start up when I turn on the car every time now. I checked the plugs and my battery, and everything is running fine. I was wondering if I should get the B&M New Volt Power Unit???

What I find is I get a rough idle for a few seconds when I pull up to lights, or of course a little bog and hesitation when off the bottle.

cold plugs = takes longer to heat up, able to take high temps for longer period of time. If the car is only city driven and never opened up on, the plugs may foul over time because the plugs never get to proper temps. Cold weather may make this worse. Just remember to open it up every so often.

hot plugs= fire up immediately and reach temps quickly. Won't withstand extended high temps.

Also, colder plugs will make the engine more knock resistant as the plug tip will be at a cooler temperature (which may be useful for boosted cars).
