GTS vs GTS

Well first off I was supposed to race a RSX-S, but ended up racing Hashiriya14 instead. We had it all planned for about a week in ClubRSX.com and he didn't show. We waited for 20 mintues and even drove back to check if he was there waiting but still no RSX.

The race started from a roll @10mph and ended up all the way to 5th@120mph. Hashiriya14 has intake and a custom made exhaust vs me with intake. It was neck and neck from 1st and we both land above 6K going into 2nd and were still next to each other. Going into 3rd I shifted @8000rpm and he shifts a little later and get's a nose lead, but I get it back when I shift @8200 going into 4th. By 4th were neck and neck again. When he shifted into 5th he shifted a little early @8000 and I kept going till 8200 and nudged a lead and shut it down @120mph. But that wasn't the best part. When we arrive at the intersection ahead there's a police cruiser at the other light and we decide to split and he turned left and I turned right. If we raced just a few secs later we would have been busted.. Oh well.. It was worth it that was one helluva straight.. :D

Well we both let off @120 so defintely an SI can beat a GTS that way..:D

Dude I still want to go to Englishtown or Atco when were there in January. I want to see your car run after all the mods you did..

I was really hoping to run the RSX-S and we had that **** all planned out for days. We even agreed where to meet and he was a no show. Hopefully he's not getting back at me for not being at the AutoX last week. We were supposed to meet up then but he said he couldn't make it and then showed up anyway. I registered and got tech inspected and went home afterwards cause my run group was the last one and came back at 100pm.

At least it wasn't a waste and managed to get an awesome run with H14..

I know you didnt get a chance to race him yet, but has anyone raced an RSX and what was the outcome, and stock vs stock with equal drivers, who would win technically?

I've raced 2 RSX-S but that was over 2 months ago. The outcome on both had the RSX-S at my rear wheel and rear bumper. Both times were from a dead stop at a light all the way to the end of 4th and most of 5th. The ones I ran might have been green I don't know, but it was dead even till 2nd. As long as you stay in the 2ndcam you're fine, cause you'll start to pull away in 3rd. Also keep the gear as long as possible and shift @8200rpm and not below that in every shift. The post in ClubRSX.com started by me wanting to run one with intake. I'd like to see with the same mods and 2 months later how we would do, so here I'am waiting.

You should see some of the post in there about GT-S vs RSX-S.
I was telling Yakko that it reminded me of the ITR vs GT-S stuff a year ago.. The only difference is we never said that we were faster than the ITR, we just said it was a driver's race between the two. That's pretty much what a race between the RSX-S and GT-S will be, but I think honestly our car is a little faster driven properly..:D
