for the nitrous guys out there. i made a brushed aluminum panel for my NX toggle switch. i think that i am going to try and make another one, but i am going to put a nitrous pressure guage on the right side of the NX switch. what do you all think about my prototype? i like it a lot. just wanted some feedback on it from you all!

BTW, it fits in the sunglass holder if you didn't know.

looks real good man, its clean, the switches look nice, its got my vote, maybe you should start selling them on e-bay or something and see what you can make for other cars as well!! Just a thought!! Good luck and happy motoring!! I have one question though, how do you plan on anchoring it into the sunglass hole?? Just curious!!

i spent MANY hours fitting it exact. it is helt in place like you see it. i wedge it in, and it stays in place perfect!

i may and try to sell one on ebay. i don't know. i'm gonna test mine for while. if i do decide to sell them, i'm gonna try here on nc.org first. i may also revise how i have it anchored too.

thanx!

nope toyo. i've been in Westminster, MD and NYC, New York. Now that i am finally home again, the install should be a go in the next couple of days. it is driving me C R A Z Y having the kit, but not have it installed!!!

Oh, and the NX switch is for a remote bottle opener(which i don't have), master arm, bottle heater, and purge. I really like the setup that NX made for the switches.

save your money and make your own??? i don't get it...

what did you use to wrap around it. I made one from aircraft panal plastic and used door edge molding it looks like crap but serves its purpose. my panal houses a/f and nitrous pressure gauge.

it is rubber tape. this type of tape is thick, and streaches nicely. works and looks good. i'm gonna redo it though because i didn't get it perfectly even all the way around, and i am sort of a perfectionist.

do you wanna sell me your old one?

sorry but no. i still have to use it for a while. but i will make you one. the only part that you would need to supply is the NX switch panel. or if you want a gauge in it, send me that too. you pay shipping both ways, and i'll do it for next to nothing. i'm doing it more for fun, rather than profit. let me know what you think!

Its pretty cool. Personally I think if you moved the switches over to the left and stuck a gauge on the right that would rock and make good use of the extra space you got. If you did that I would definately buy one of these from a gb or ebay.

i'm gonna have to do it. i thought about that a lot! give me some time. i'll keep you all updated!

but would i sell it with, or without the guages? i would rather put the guage in, then ship it. i don't know. give me some opinions. thanx!

mmm that might be a problem .. guages is something that is a drivers taste. You might want to just cut the spot .. Guages come in a couple different sizes so I'd say more pick a reasonable size and then sell it at that size and let people get their own guage.
