Are you talking about an engine swap from a 1ZZ to a 2ZZ? It may be possible, but not a great idea. The 5-speed transmission would be geared horribly for the 2ZZ. I doubt you'd ever be able to hit lift between each shift.

Excellent question.... but I think that's a very valid point. Staying in lift would be the biggest hurdle to overcome. I think that a well geared 5 speed in the gt-s would be very nice. Something comparable to the Type -R......
