I hate the stupid money greedy and doesn't know anything Toyota dealers (this does not include you Mr. Draper, you're one of the best). Aight this is how my service with the dealers near Hayward, CA and Davis, CA goes: (sorry kinda long)

On Friday afternoon I get an oil change in Hanlees Toyota up in Davis, CA because I am through with finals and I want to get an oil change near the dorms I live in b4 I go home for winter break and while waiting for my friend to end her last final. Last night I was driving around at night and all of a sudden I notice a sound coming from outside. So I stopped the car on the side of the road to look and nothing is wong on the outside so I look under the car and I notice that the plastic undercarriage splash guard on the right side is hanging from 1 nut only = nuts and clips fell off. I couldn't do anything cuz it was night in the middle of the road so I drive home slowly. After thinking the only person that could have done this is the one that changed my oil. Oh yea, I live in Hayward. So today (Monday) morning I call up Hanlees to see if a nearby toyota dealer could do it (cuz I don't have jacks to jack up the car or anyone to help me with it). Hanlees tells me if I could go back up there just to get it fixed, and I say hell no cuz it's like a 75 min. drive, so then tell me to call my local Toyota (Hayward Toyota). I call hayward toyota and tell them my problem, and guess what they say. They said that they are going to have to charge me for half-hour labor which is $47.50 just to PHUCKIN PUT BACK SOME NUTS AND A CLIP which I could just get them to do it for a brand new oil change that will cost only half that price. I tell them it's only a nut and a clip but they keep on telling me nothing can be done except for that. So I call Hanlees back and I explain to them what Hayward Toyota told me, and I tell them to call Hayward toyota directly. So they said they will immediately, and I wait for his phone call. No call for 30 min. and so I decide to call back again. When I do call Hanlees, they put me on hold for like at the very least 20 min. and when someone finally picks up they say I must talk to the person who I talked to b4 but he's with another customer and he already has 2 more phone calls waiting because they don't want to have to deal with me. Wut the PHUCK!!!!! I get pissed and I ask for the owner of the dealership, and then they help me by calling hayward and Toyota and finally everything gets fixed. Although I don't get charged anything, the stupid thing is that Hayward Toyota still charges Davis Toyota $45 plus costs of the nuts and clip. DAMN I WILL NEVER GO TO THOSE TWO PLACES AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Can't you put the Clips on yourself?

No, the clips were gone, and the plastic was hanging on by just one nut which was in the back of it, so during the drive, a nut and a clip fell off.

I have said it before, and I will say it again: TOYOTA SERVICE SUCKS! (David is an exception)

Check this out:

I just put a brand new intake air filter in my old 94 Camry. I take it to the dealership for a quick oil change and of coarse they come back with a list of problems.

1. Oil Leak
2. Paint chips (it's a 94 so who cares!)
3. Front Boot is leaking???
4. Intake Air Filter needs replace ment...

Wait a sec...my intake filter needs replacement. I ask the service rep if these are suggested repairs or are they confirmed problems. He says there confirmed. I ask about the air filter condition. He tells me it is completely black and definately needs to be replaced for the low low price of $75. I laugh and tell him just to bring up my car. He does and they starts warning me that my car is going to appherently suffer a nuclear meltdown if I don't get this stuff done....well, maybe not nuclear:p
He now has my pissed off enough... I grab my tool kit and right there infront of him open the intake and show him my BRAND Fing NEW filter that I installed not 2 days ago. He promptly shut up. I then asked him in a VERY LOUD albeit polite voice if I truly needed a new airfilter since I just installed them. He just handed me my keys. I drove off...being followed by 3 other customers who heard my conversation. I hate Toyota service...
