Cops!! Agggh!!

COPS AHHHGG!!
Driving home from work the other day i get pulled over at a seat belt check. There where about 5 cops standing in the parking lot waiting. They all start to laugh and point at my lights (blue bulbs)
as well i have tint on the side windows. One tells me that if they were trying to meet a quota for tickets that my car would be all they need for the day! One proceeds to rip off my tint while the others look under the hood to see how to pull out the bulbs. They made me pull the singnal and park lights. The clear side markers they said i could do at home because it was tough to get at them. I didnt get any tickets (i would rather have) and as im leaving i ask "so what if i get pulled over for no signal lights" the pig replies "use manual signals" meaning use my arms like on a bike. **** OFF!!! (I had to vent)

u serious?? WTF. they ripped off ur tints?? how bad are ur tints?? as for the blue turn signels, i can understand that but i don't think they can do it them self. I guess it's better than getting a ticket though. You can keep ur clear side markez though. alot of newer cars have clear turn signalz. ex. jetta, some trucks...ect

I didn't know they could rip things off your car PERIOD! There's gotta be some law against that...they crossed the line on this one I think. You should definately look into this.

the bad thing is they can hunt u down if u complain against them. I had a similar case like this but w/ different tickets. I ask my B.law teach "is there anything i could do leagaly?"......."sure u can complain and take it to court, but it is really worth being pulled over everyday for the rest of your life"-her answer

It isnt legal for police to damage products on your car or remove parts period. the reason for this is its all legal. you may drive it on the road which is illegal for you but you could have all that stuff for shows where you legally trailer your ride to shows so all police can do is ticket you or give you so long to remove it or your REGISTRATION will be revoked. By the way I contest cops all the time.....they dont pull me over much anymore cause they know there going to court if they do!

It's not B.S. I live in canada, we have R.C.M.P as other Canadians know they think they run the country! They told me my car wasn't going anywhere untill it "complied"

RESTISTANCE IS FUTILE!! :chuckles: Cops just love messing with imports. I get pulled over all the time and it hasn't been for speeding either. i actaully had one cop tell me the reason he pulled me over was b/c he had nothing better to do! Motherfukking cops! I think they need to chill the fukk out!

Well call it what you want. I have had my car for a month and a half and last nite on the way home MISSHIFT F***! Then today at the dealership i find out the previous owner misshifted as well! double F***!!!!! (more on this in the repair forum)

They DEFINITELY cant rip things off your car, this has ot be crossing the line. Let's say they call your intake illegal, rip it out & you run an open manifold home? I'd do something about this man, did you get names or badge numbers?

Im not one to argue with cops on an issue like this. It doesnt get you anywhere, you just end up digging yourself a deeper hole.
If i did protest they just would have given me tickets on top of this "bullshi*"
