I wouldn't call it sad since I don't know what kind of boost he's running. But I'll say that 334whp should land him mid 12s at best.

My guess is that this guy is running very small psi like 6-7.

I'm more interested in what he traps at than his ETs. The mph is unknown.

Actually larry i think it's a huge difference. The S2000 runs low 14s on most days bone stock and maybe high 13s on a lucky day.
12.8 is a whole lot faster than that. Like buslengths for sure :)

And like I said, I'll bet 1 dollar this guy is running very low boost. Once he cranks it up it should be a whole lot faster, though his engine may not take the added boost too well, but that's why you got low compression pistons and rods.

oh...and i just saw he's trapping at 112mph. That's about as fast as a Vette Z06, so low 12s are very well in reach with better traction.

well the s2000 is still running stock compression....so i would guess anything over 9psi would blow his motor..with out a lower compression...That is the problem with most honda motors when u turbo them..to bad he does not have a low compression Dsm motor hehe.. But i bet he has a better tranny.

i guess i just equate turbo with REALLY FAST..like getting a DSM into the high 12s isnt that hard.. just seems an S2000 with its power/weight ratio would be faster with a turbo..

Turbo doesn't equal fast if there is no boost or no tuning.

he should run much quicker with some good tires or some drag stickies, his 60 could easily be better.

it's a lot easier to put a car that is already a turbo in 12's then a high compression car that's not made to be turboed (ie gts or s2k) he'll have to spend a lot more to get into 12's than you ever will with you gst, that one of the things that makes turbo dsms so great. that's not bad at all on stock internals for the s2k and you know it'll get stronger internals soon due to companies like spoon or mugen who support their cars unlike TRD cough cough. i haven't seen any time for the other turbo s2k yet, so i guess we'll have to see what that yeilds.

The HP says that he should be running mid 11's. The trap speed says he should be running very high 11's. The timeslip says that he needs a lot of practice.

http://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37637 on here is a timeslip for a stock s going 13.9 and some more info about turbo s2k (not much but a tad bit more) derryk should run fairly well if he ever gets down to the track, i htink he's runng around 8 lbs of boost. Like Kleef said earlier they haven't been able to use any good amount of boost on that motor yet.

HE RUNS HIGH 11'S WITH 325 AT THE WHEELS AT 8PSI WITH STOCK EVERYTHING. THESE TIMES WERE ACCOMPLISHED WITH STOCK RIMS AND TIRES. WITH WIDER, STICKIER TIRES, OR SLICKS EVEN, THE CAR IS VERY CAPABLE OF MID 11'S. CHRIS, THE GUY WHO GOT 12.8'S GOT THAT ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS THE FIRST TIME HE TOOK HIS CAR TO THE TRACK WITH THE NEW TURBO. CHRIS IS MAKING MORE POWER THAN DERRYCK, HE'S OBVIOUSLY FASTER. CHRIS JUST ISN'T THE BEST DRIVER IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW AND STILL NEEDS TO LEARN THE CAR.

p.s. DERRYCK HAS HAD THE TURBO ON HIS CAR FOR OVER 10,000 MILES AND HAS YET TO HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR, MINOR OR MAJOR. IMAGINE WHAT A BUILT S2000 CAN DO RUNNING HIGH BOOST WITH BETTER TRACTION!:eek: :eek: :eek:

Thats total BS... Derryck has run a Gtec time of 12.1

He has never actually shown a timeslip

Gtec = bs if you ask me. You make a claim like that and you better back it up with a slip, a video or something.

Do a search on the S2000 site and you'll see what i mean.

Derryck ran a 12.1 on gtech.

Also, it was ChrisD's (turbo S2000) first time and I think he had problems hooking up.

BTW. Derryck ran a 2002 ZO6 (405HP) and beat it. The guy in the ZO6 said he was going all out racing Derryck. ZO6s run high 11s.

Both guys have same turbo Kits, Derryck created it.
