View Full Version : License plate on front grill?

I just received my celica bumper hole plate today. Now is it possible to put the license plate on the grill? Has anyone done this? Becaues I saw a matrix dewd who bended the bottom of the plate a little, and put it on his grill. From the looks of our grill it seems to be the same size as the matrix.

Cool idea, not sure about that one. I had to take mine off immediately because it made the front so hideous. I live in IL near the St Louis side and you're supposed to have them on back and front. But...I had my Camaro for 5 years and never had one on the front. Never got pulled over for it. Do all states supposedly require plates on front now?

I'm from Canada, and in ontario we're suppose to have them on the front. I got pulled over the 2nd day without the front license plate. Our cars are too flashy!

yeah its at a angle so it looks weird...it was the only way i got it in...now i just have it bolted where its suposed to be

So everytime you get pulled over what do you say to the cops? I dont wanna drill it into my bumper? Also where do you keep your front license plate? Cuz I've been pulled over, and man....it seroiusly sux to get gettin' pulled over.

i've got mine wire-tied to the front grill some of the time... i mainly just stick it there for parking purposes in san francisco since it's a $100 ticket

I was just try to do that just now, and it doesnt seem to work. Did you bend your plate at all?
