I'm not sure whether or not you could use the climate control overlay prior to painting. I dont imagine it would be a problem, although the symbols would probably not match up with the stock symbols perfectly, that is the only problem I could foresee.

wait .. so if we gettin our consoles painted.. we kan get the whole thing painted and dont have to worry about the buttons.. kuz the vinyl will make it visivle over the paint?

I think (not sure), but if you sand down the console, it has that opaque stuff through it. If you sand the areas where the symbols are now, and then put the new vinyl symbols over it, and THEN paint it and remove the symbols, you should have the same effect (illuminated symbols) as stock. Anybody wanna try it?

bats third brake light, door handle well and TRD wing side covers in c/fiber are awesome, just put them on, too dark for pics, easy job...
