M left fog light is more brighter????????

My left fog light its alot more brighter ??????
I have stock fog lights, the bulbs are PIAA. any suggestions how to fix it??

:rofl: i like the 'more brighter' thing... anyway, if your talking about when your standing in front of the car.... its supposed to be brighter on that side because the right side is dimmed for oncoming traffic.. if your not then i dont know.. =\

no, I can see it from far away and i dont like it because it looks like there is only one big bright light on the left side and on the right side i can see the 2 lights from the headlight and the foglight

theres no difference in the brightness itself.. they're both 55W lamps.. the only difference is the direction and aiming...

As far as I know, the aiming of the light only goes for the headlight. Not for the foglight.

I'm not totaly sure, but I'm going to investigate this. Will be soon back on this item..........

Okay, I checked and I was right. The foglights should aim straight foreward. Both of them........

you sure you bought the same wattage bulbs when you purchased your PIAAs.? I'd double check the package and make sure you didn't get different wattages. I believe PIAA has an 55 that acts likes an 85 and a 55 that acts like a 135.

yeah im sure i bought 55wt PIAA, should i take it to the dealer to fix, my celi is 02

i wouldn;t take it to the dealer they'll most likely say you swapped bulbs its your problem

i agree here, make sure the aiming is correct, and double check to make sure both are the same bulbs!

If you take your plastic panels off.. and look behind the foglight.. you will see 2-4 screws with that have spring on them.. you can adjust the foglights.. just play with them.. but be careful, I once adjusted mine too much and people were always flashing me because they thought I had my high beams on.

You're not changing the intensity of the light, just the angle of where it points to.

If I remember right, you can only adjust the foglight up and down, NOT left and right. What you should do is go to the dealer and asked them how the lights should shine. For example : top of the beam at 30 cm above the ground on a door 1 meter ahead of the car.
I'm pretty sure my foglights are right, so if you want I can find that out for you. (The hight at 1 meter).

I have factory foglights on my 2002 but the passenger side is brighter than the driver side and the rest of my lights (low beams) its annoying to drivers since it is brighter too. ANy ideas? is it the bulb? wiring, fuse? also do u have any replica HIDs? what is your opinon on mtecs 55watts? i dont want to put anything over this since it may burn my wiring... I want the 2003 hids but want to make sure someone has done the conversion sucessfully before i spend the cash. any ideas would be great thanks
