i just got 17' Mortegi MR7's wrapped with Kuhmo tires...... I know that i need an alignment but is there any other precautions i should take after putting them on? Tire Balance?

You shouldn't need an alignment just because you have new wheels/tires.

If you bought them mounted, they should have balanced them for you already.

If they didn't come with hubcentric rings, I would get some.

i know that but my car is lowered and i haven't gotton an alignment yet

Then to answer your question, yup you need a four wheel alignment. What size drop did you get, and what brand of springs. You may need a camber kit, for an alignment. Let me know about what I asked above first, then I will be able to tell you more.

eibach sportline springs.......... 1.8 drop in front and 2.4 in back

I was told if I would have gone with that drop, I would need a rear camber kit. When they settle, the drop will definetly need a rear camber kit to get it right.

but it depends on how much u drop tho

rear camber kit needed when

u have
coil over
1.5 inches or more drops (some say 2inches)

if u have
1.5 or lower drop like TRD spring or hotckis spring u should be fine without rear camber kit
