View Full Version : Is anyone else's TRM becoming discolored?

Is it because it's not stainless steel that's why it's turning somewhat bronze. The tip is changing colors and its irratating me. Is there anyway i can make it shiny again and get it back to how it was before? Anyone else have this problem with the TRM? thanks

Go to the store and get some Brasso. I just used some on my stock exhaust tips which are not SS and they turned out awesome. Coloration went away and it cleaned all the spots off. Looks almost like an aftermarket ones on there cause it's so shiny :D

i use meguiars gold glass all metal restorer and it takes the bronze right out

I hear Eagle One's metal polish is pretty good too.

my trd is doing the same thing...plus the inner part is full of black carbon or whatever that black exaust smoke is.....

does anyone know where to buy brasso at? I checked at Pepboys and they don't have it...thanks

You might try Home Depot as it's used on all kinds of of things that are metal. I found an online store selling it here http://campingsurvival.com/brasmetpol.html
