I just got into an accident, and I'm gonna need some price quotes so my insurance company can pay for the repairs. What are the best body shops in NJ, preferrably in Monmouth County?

My parents want me to go to the place they use, but they fixed the driver side front quarterpanel on my last car, and after a year, the paint started to flake and the metal rusted.

you're not really going to fix that front end, are you? My suggestion is to go to a scummy place that will give a high quote, then get the money and buy a bodykit front end :) This is what I did when my rear bumper got hit. I still didnt decide on what to get, but I got $600 out of it for two little nicks on the bumper and broken syrofoam that costs $20 at toyota

I've taken my car to a place called Sanos for a scratch and dent in my rear quarter panel. I've heard nothing but good about them and my car came out perfect when they finished it. Email me at adietze@easylink.com if you want directions or any other info. Hope I can help.

If you dont mind driving up to Bergen Cty, there is a place in Palisades Park that supposedly does really excellent work. A local Supra guy had his car painted there and now he has one of the best paint jobs around. I haven't seen it personally, but many people who have seen it can't seem to stop talking about it.

Otherwise, you could try Bergen Imports in Cliffside Park. They did Roger Clemens' car and it was done very well.

What's the name of the place in Palisades Park? I'm just gonna go around getting quotes from the best places I can find, and go with whichever one the insurance company wants to pay for. This way I know I'm getting a good job.

BTW, has anybody heard of a place called Pinto? It's on Jerseyville Road in Freehold. My insurance company says it's a good place and they've never had any complaints (of course I take that with a grain of salt ;) ). It's one of their places, so I don't have to wait for some guy to come down and look at the damage and figure how much everything should cost (which would happen if I went to a place of my choice). I could pretty much get the job done next week.

I'm not in a huge rush, since I still need a little more $ to cover my deductible, but I'd like to get it done by the end of January.

Its the shop that Toyota uses cause i went through them to fix my rear end damage. They did an EXCEPTIONAL job with the car. Took them a while but they did it beautifully.
