Is the NE Dragway closed for the 02 season after october? Website doesn't have anything listed, but that could also be because they haven't posted it up yet?
Anyone know?
Also, I'm from Nashua, NH... anyone know of autox nearby? Links of schedules, etc...?
Thanks

my buddy's dad is a big autocrosser down in Mass witht he BMW club so we go to his events every once in awhile. i'm pretty sure the autocross season is over too though. I'll see what info I can come up with and I'll post it for you.

you think i was joking..?
ok let's see 1 weekend = $2000 at skip barber OR $150 and use that at your convinience, unlimited time, and I think it could work just as well.
you learn the physix. you dont feel the G forces, but most likely they put you in a race car and THE limit will be YOUR limit - what you feel comfortable with. if you learn how to drive the car to the CAR's limits, then you can work on the Gs later.
go drive a gokart.
how do you think i learned how to drive?

that explains why you can't drive worth a sh!t...Best way to learn how to drive better is to practice new stuff. Take the same streets on the way home and learn the curves, then go out on a new street and try to figure out every curve and turn on that one. Continue on til you master different turns and curves cause every road is different. Thats what I do on the backroads of my town...

Sorry bagadoosh, I see enough sarcasm on the board that I figured it applied to you to, my bad.
Shift, sounds like a plan to me.
But mainly I was just curious about what's out there.... dont' plan on doing anything any time soon (still in school).

and you've seen me drive when?
dont make me take you out on a gokart track.
see, i knew anthony's not serious about a racing school. so i was 1 step ahead and recommended something practical. now you tell him to go on the road where a mistake could be very costly.
driving involves: timing - calculations, reaction time, how well you can train your body to do as you tell it to, knowing what to tell it, and endurance - how long your body can think, calculate and perform what it's told.
now you say you've figured the best way to hone these skills? you should start charging money.

Let me change what I said, Go out on deserted roads and try stuff but DON'T be stupid and out of control. Don't speed just learn curves and turns. Bago you pick the track I'll smoke your ass silly......By the time I'm done with you you won't know where to go.....

no no I'm serious. I'm going to be on co-op march through august and trying to plan ahead, just have to see if the racing school is worth it.
and btw, you all can't drive. Does that settle it?
