I just purchased some wheels that weigh 14.6 lbs a piece. I was checking here and noticed that these are about the lightest 17's out by far. My question is.....having the wheels this light, isthere a negative effect.

wsup man.
u finally got the rims? congrats! what color did you get?
there are lighter 17 inch rims out there.
sometime when the rims are too light, the rims are weak and they will bend. SSR Competitions are known to bend.

The Racing Hart CP-035 is an extremely light wheel. However, I don't know if I'd trust it to hold up under pothole duty ... :ugh:
17×7.5 is only about 13lbs
17×8 is only about 13.6lbs

what off-set did you get your RH CP 035's. and what tires do you plan on running on your 17's? i was thinking about buying those rims in either 16 or 17 in. because i already of tires for both.
