I just got Photoshop 6 and want to learn how to cut my car from a pic and add to something else and do all those cool things. When I play with it, its just not as simple as I thought, Any suggestions, I was thinking of picking up Photoshop 6 for dummies what do y'all think.

Right now I'm taking a class on Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver and InDesign (literally, I'm in class right now! :D ). For Photoshop, we're using a book called "Adobe Photoshop 6: Classroom in a Book". It's pretty good at teaching you the basics of Photoshop and ImageReady (animated gifs) if you do all the lessons. There are so many things in Photoshop, it will take forever to learn and master them. Just take your time and work on one thing at a time. You'll get the hang of it eventually.

I've been using photoshop for over 5 years.. I STILL don't know everything and I consider myself pretty ok with it. Its a very deep program and there's just so many things you can do with it.
