Its supercar-like acceleration is estimated at 0 to 90 mph in just 11.2 seconds, quicker than the standard Elise.

Top speed is electronically limited to 90 mph

That would have to be increased

The major hurdle with electric versus gas powered is driving distance as it would be a hassle to say the least to re-charge it...but if these cars can compete performance wise...the outlook for them seems much better
