View Full Version : Not much Celica related talk in "General Discussion" anymore...

Disclaimer: This is just an observation, as I really don't care.

But I was looking at the recent topics, and I noticed that there really wasn't much related to the Celica anymore. Even traffic in the other sections has been rather light lately. I figure that this is possibly due to:

A. After months of whining, people are using the "Search" function, instead of getting flamed.
B. There is nothing more to discuss that hasn't been said already.
C. The cars seem to be holding up well, as I rarely see any new problems lately beyond an occasional CEL.
D. I am the only one left here who actually still owns a 7th Gen Celica.

General Discussion is the only place outside of OT to show non-celica related car info that you would like everyone to see and that is worthwhile to read or notice.

Check Appearance/Performance mods, FI, Forsale and the other forums are 99% 7th Gen celica related.

HEY..I still own my 7th gen..at least for another week. :(

I really think I'm going to miss that car......

The Flame Free OT is for non-car discussion...

questions/concerns for questions that someone might inquiring about something like school, playstation or mouse traps...

General Discussion is CAR related discussion... that's the difference

Actually, back in the day, "General Discussion" used to be described as "Anything Celica Related...", and "Off-topic" used to be for other topics. Today "General Discussion" has become "Anything Automotive", and "Off-Topic" has become an area for noobs to congregate and discuss bodily functions and relations with animals.

yes back in the day we used to put all other car info into OT and the celica was kept in the general discussion. Then OT became whoreland and worthless for anyone that didnt have 8 hours a day to sift through garbage to get some good stuff out of it. so we said ok lets bring all car discussion to the main board.
