Illegals in Nanuet

I went up there Wednesday.. very fun.

You guys should come up. Sadly, no Celica's were represented. I did some really nice races though.. Mustang vs Galant VR4 - Galant won, and both cars were so loud they shook the ground. Supra vs. Trans AM (with GN engine), and TransAm won.. the Supra was fast, but he couldn't launch it. The TransAm shoots out of the hole like a bullet. Then went to another site where it was a bunch of Honda's.. ITR vs GTP GrandPrix, ITR lost.. he went up against another car and won.. etc etc..

MarkyMark, it isn't too far for you to come up. And I think I remember you saying that you were friends with Andre (dre99gsx).. he was there and raced Roger (green single Supra), with me and this other Supra dude trying to keep up pathetically.

I think they have it every Wednesday.

Way North from you Larry. This is in NY. they are fun though if you ever feel like making the trip. You basically hang out at the Dunkin Donuts, looking at and talking about cars. Then every so often you hit the road and do some racing.

Larry, it's about 30 mins from Newark, NJ. Are you still in Delaware? I thought you had moved to Florida.

In any case, I think it's worth a trip up, but then again, I dont know how long it takes from DE to NY area.. but if you could come up, it's a lot of fun..

How is far is Nanuet Nj or Ny, (where ever these races are) from Philadelphia... Id like to come and check it out sometime, since the Races in Philly are pretty much dead...

Nanuet is just on the border of NY and NJ. How far is Philadelphia from here? I heard it was about 2.5 hours from NYC, so Nanuet should be about that far.. 2.5 hours.

Honestly, if you're coming up that far, it probably isn't worth it, unless you really want to race your car or something. This was my second night there, and the first time, there were cops all over the place giving EVERYBODY a ticket for anything they could find wrong.

The last time I went was really fun, but I heard that the night I went was especially fun from people who go there often. So that's why it might not be worth coming up since you dont know if there will be a lot of cops, a lot of racing, etc etc..

Nanuet is in NY. From Palisades Interstate Parkway, take exit 8W. From Garden State Parkway, go past exit 173, into NY state, and bear right, you'll see the signs for Nanuet. You could also take route 287 and take exit 13 for Nanuet. For those coming from the south, NJ Turnpike can connect you with Palisades Interstate Parkway.

It's not every night.. only Wednesday and Sunday, but I've heard that Sunday is when most cops are out.
