Hey, sounds like a killer deal on the GT-S. I'm assuming it's used. I hope it's a six speed, otherwise you are wasting your cash in my opinion.

Would you rather have dips**ts coming on the board saying they bought a civic?

Heya, when you start haggling, start $3K below the sticker price. And whatever you do, DO NOT BE AFRAID to walk out. Even if you don't plan on it. You will find that they will be much more obliged to let you hang onto the car for a 1 hour test drive... or even take it home for a night.
They know that if you actually leave without the car, you will probably never come back. They want you to buy it. Don't be afraid to leave :) trust me... you'll get a better deal
ALSO, make sure that the PRICE is the SAME as it is on the loan papers. Some dealers will try and screw you, by adding some BS cost at the end. So the 15K agreed price shows up as 15,400 on paper. That supposed 6% that they say you have is actually 7-8% when they add the BS cost such as "origination fee, etc." Question everything. The price better be the same on the loan papers. Make sure of this!
Also, always have more than one place available to do financing. You're done fighting for a good price, now you must fight for your APR. They can make back the price by giving you a crappy APR. You should be able to get a gooooooooooood rate 6% ish, or as close to it as humanly possible unless your credit isn't the greatest. If you have time, go to a bookstore and find a book on dealing with buying a used car from dealerships... you will learn ****loads
Damn this is 10x longer than I thought
oh well hope this helps :D
good luck. Oh yeah, pretend to not be interested in the car. If they can tell you really want it, they will be a lot tougher to budge on price cuz they know you'll give in.

page down about 3 times and you will see the short little black antenna.
first thing to do after you get it is to carve your name on it. I've heard people stealign antenna since it's relatively easy to unscrew it. it won't prevent idiots from stealing it but at least they can't sell it with your name on it.

Hey, I hope you see my advice..
If you have 6 speed, please do not misshift,
never downshift to 1st gear unless ur going 5-10mph
do not shift to 2nd gear over 65mph
do not shift to3rd gear over 85mph
do not shift to 4th gear after 105mph
*be gentle with you clutch and trannny..
If you don't, You will blow up your engine. 90% guaranteed..
Have fun with your GTS.. very good car...

hey thanks for the support.. :) well.. now i know im gonna get some sighs but i didnt get the 6 speed.. lol.. yeah its auto.. but it does have the e-shift which is VERY cool.. i dont know if its stock with all autos.. or was that even an extra option??.. but i gotta explain why i didnt get stick.. well the biggest reason is i go to college downtown chicago and im ALWAYS dealing with traffic.. and from what ive heard.. stick is the absolute worst in traffic.. and im only a freshman.. so id have to deal with that for the next four years.. i have very little patience.. and if im not down there for school.. im always hanging out there.. so like 70% of my driving is dealing with tons of stop and goes.. i really dont want to sound like a whiner or just looking for excuses.. its just easier.. lol.. right now all i want to do is wash it but its snowing.. which sucks..

how come you get the car price to so cheap ? U know I got a GT auto for 20500.......which I thought was a good deal cause I just go to this country. But now reading all the post I think I was Screw. So please someone let me know what the cheapest price you get for GT-S stick. Cause is it 18000 +- then I was to trade in this GT auto for an GT-S stick. But like to have all the trim like leather, fog etc....
THANK can't wait to change to GT-S
